Lee Pace….I only know of about ONE other person in this world who admires him more than me, and that is you Miranda
I’m so glad for his Emmy love, and the love for his show. Totally deserved.

Personally, I’m devastated that the ladies from “Mad Men” were overlooked. Christina Hendricks, January Jones, and Elisabeth Moss have created three of the most interesting female characters on television…ever. While I’m happy that the show got so many well-deserved nods, I’m peeved at the Emmy nominating committees for overlooking these ladies. Well, there’s always next year.

Absolutely, Nicky.
I am so ECSTATIC for LEE. This will no doubt be a big boost for his career. I couldn’t be happier for him.
I’m immensely grateful that he was acknowledged. Could be the very beginning of the big breakthrough that he needs to have. Might just be on the cusp of becoming the huge star that he so deserves to be.
Hell yeah…..

D, if I didn’t have the site I would’ve glanced through the nominees the way I always do. Every year.
But I’ve never been a big television fan. I have my favourites (which vary from year to year, of course). Most of the shows that I’ve grown to genuinely adore have been programs that I actually started watching when their respective runs had finally ended and they began syndication etc.
So I have knowledge of and keep up with important things in the industry. I always know about the popular and cutting edge shows. Familiarize myself with actors in them and the general story lines etc.
With all that said, I have yet to see an ep of MAD MEN. Have heard a ton of great things about it. ESPECIALLY the female performers in it. I keep hearing about JANUARY JONES. (Great name BTW.) Saw her in a photo spread in IN STYLE a while back. Extremely good looking.
Considering your exquisite taste, I’ll take your word for the fact that these women were robbed. But that happens all the time (unfortunately) and it’s something that will likely be remedied soon.
That’s all right, D. It will all even out eventually….
