CELEBRITY BEAUTY PRODUCTS
Although I shouldn’t be, I’m always intrigued by the products the affluent and gorgeous use to stay looking fabulous. At least, the ones that they claim to use…
God only knows how long this has been going on. Likely as long as there’s been media out there promoting things (the 1930s, I imagine). Over the last century, there have been many celebrities that claimed usage of particular brands. But who knows if they did actually use these products or if they stood behind them due to enormous endorsement fees?
Anyway…

It’s funny, my friend in L.A. was telling me about an infomercial that he just produced for a beauty cream by a celebrity/actress. She isn’t one of the ones named here; let’s just say her best days have past her, at least professionally.
He said she would put the cream on her hands, and reluctantly at that. It’s meant for your face.
Paycheck for a one day appearance? $100K.

And that stuff been going on for decades.
If an actor can make $100,000 for ONE DAY’S work on an infomercial (whether or not he/she uses those products), then celebrities who have those long term contracts with the major cosmetics companies must be sitting VERY PRETTY.
I imagine it beats working. For some of them…
