BRAD PITT DONATES MONEY: SUPPORTS GAY MARRIAGE

I adored both BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE long before they ever got together.
But now that they are, I’m thrilled that they’re doing so much good and being such responsible, caring people in a world that doesn’t make a whole hell of a lot of sense.
Certainly Mr. Pitt and Ms. Jolie are charismatic, beautiful, heartstoppingly sexy, talented and wealthy. They’re both very impressive individuals.
But there are endless amounts of people in their respective positions that wouldn’t walk their talk OR would do absolutely nothing.
So it actually makes them even more admirable in my eyes.
I’m a straight woman that’s always loved men.
PASSIONATELY.
(That’s the understatement of the new century…)
But I’ve always had a lot of gay friends. I believe strongly that people should be able to live their lives exactly as they want. Without any sort of cruelty, harassment or shame involved. I don’t believe in societal classes or hierarchies. Everyone should have equal rights across the board.
That’s my personal feeling. Come hell or high water…
BRAD PITT has donated $100,000 to fight November’s ballot initiative that would overturn the state Supreme Court decision legalizing same sex marriage.
It’s the first time voters will be asked to ban same sex marriage in states where gay people have all ready won the right to wed. (It’s legal in CALIFORNIA and MASSACHUSETTS.)
“Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it. Because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8,” BRAD said yesterday.
TREVOR NEILSON, BRAD PITT’S political and philanthropic advisor, told the AP that BRAD was surprised that his colleagues in the entertainment industry had not publicly attacked Proposition 8 more thoroughly.
Let’s just say that I am very, VERY proud of BRAD this Thursday morn…

Well, as heroes go, you could do much, MUCH worse than BRAD.
I’ve always liked him a great deal. (It doesn’t hurt that he embodies a physical type that I’ve always found extremely attractive.) But he just shot to the very top of my list.

J.D., I would never do anything to embarrass you or make you feel guilty.
Any time you want to drop by is FINE. Even if it’s only once a year.
We just enjoy having you at CP. Regardless of how often that is…
