MELISSA ETHERIDGE: PERFORMING LIVE ON BROADWAY

FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

MELISSA ETHERIDGE will join the cast of the hit Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET for a one time jam session.

The OSCAR and GRAMMY winning artist will perform an undisclosed song on JUNE 23 during the show’s finale. It will be pulled from the catalogue of one of the four artists represented the show.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET tells the story of an actual event in 1956 when SUN RECORDING artists JOHNNY CASH, JERRY LEE LEWIS, CARL PERKINS and ELVIS PRESLEY played together in an impromptu jam session. The Memphis studio was owned by the legendary Sam Phillips, who discovered them all.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET has been nominated for three TONY AWARDS, including BEST MUSICAL.
