I just wanted to showcase some unusual posters for BLACK SWAN that you may not have seen before.
They were created by LA BOCA DESIGN in London.

thank god or whomever someone finally does something a bit obviously arty or that seems that way. all we get is the usual stuff or totally generic pictures of stars.
seems the posters we’re getting stateside aren’t as interesting as the things you’ve posted, but more in line with what people want/expect???
these work for me. but hell, i hate getting my picture taken and if there’s a way to get out of it without being ultra rude, i want that way soon/bad.
but most people are ok with the picture taking thing. so i wonder is that part of reason they’re so ok with the show the star type poster?
hmm…
i like looking at pics of others. but i’d really love more movie posters that didn’t just cater to the here’s the star thing. but i guess you have to go with what sells. just wish expectations as far as movie poster stuff weren’t set so low.
hell movie posters are pretty yawnish. same with posters/dvd covers whatever.
but hell it’s not like i’m the assumed/wanted audience for anything.
oh yeah…

Those posters are astonishingly beautiful. I just had to put them up, glim. They’re so evocative. The colour combinations are rapturously bold and exquisite.
They resemble posters from the golden age of Hollywood. They look like authentic works of art. If you hadn’t seen the film, I think that they would definitely create some genuine interest.
but most people are ok with the picture taking thing. so i wonder is that part of reason they’re so ok with the show the star type poster?
The hypothetical picture taking scenario probably doesn’t have anything to do with that. Or at least I don’t think so.
but hell it’s not like i’m the assumed/wanted audience for anything.
Not to worry, my lil southern honey bear. You can come over to CP and discuss whatever your heart desires.
I’m thrilled to have you here. We have great discussions.
And you’re always fun…
