Everyone that pays attention to the content on this site must be aware by now of my passionate devotion to fashion and style. As a young girl growing up, I learned much of what I know today from reading magazines and watching films.

EW has a slideshow completely concerned with film fashion and some rather classic wardrobe pieces that people still talk about today, decades later.

Of the ones included, these have the most impact to my mind: AUDREY HEPBURN in the beautiful black sheath from BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY’S opening moments, the white halter gown MARILYN MONROE had on in the subway grate scene in THE SEVEN YEAR ITCH and the black and white outfit GRACE KELLY wore to make her distractingly elegant entrance in REAR WINDOW.
