Much as I worship EW (as in the emerald green grass that they walk on – their slideshows and lists get me out of more jams than you’d ever believe on slow news days), I really don’t get the second portion of this particular compilation.

Some great choices. As always. But there are some grand and glorious omissions.

No PENNY MARSHALL? No FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA? Where the hell are NEIL JORDAN and ROBERT REDFORD???

Whatever…
