  1. so do you think celebs have an interest in designer stuff pre ah being celebs or do they become interested post celeb when they sort of need this info…?

  2. Hey, honey. Nice to have you back…

glim, there is an upside and a downside to everything. No matter what it is.

Celebrities get a load of perks. Comes with the territory. I suppose it makes up for all of the other crap that they have to tolerate consistently. Lack of privacy is right at the top of that list.

One of the fabulous things about being well known is that those people generally have access to a ton of free stuff. Like clothes, for example…

If you’re a celebrated young actor just hitting your stride or a well established personality, designers will pursue you to wear their creations to awards shows or simply offer you various pieces. It’s rare that celebs have to pay for any of that stuff.

Whether you’re a name in the fashion world or just beginning, getting a popular star to wear your clothes (especially if the woman/man in question is widely considered cool) is worth its weight in gold.

Do celebs care about all this foofaraw before they become famous? I’m sure that it depends on the person. For some individuals, style is a huge priority. But it’s definitely not for everyone.

I can understand not giving a rat’s ass. To a degree.

But I do think (and that’s only my opinion) that people should give a damn about their appearance in general. Positive first impressions are always a good thing.

It’s always better if you can rise to the challenge in that particular way. It’s much easier (in terms of relationships, career etc.) if you can make people sit up and take notice.

But if you can wow them and make every head in the room turn…

    Well, that’s another story.

  3. thanks for your insights into the celeb dressing thing. 🙂

  4. You’re always welcome, honey. Any time.
