And now JULIANNE MOORE is taking on TALBOTS’ latest campaign for spring 2011. She’ll join an increasingly fashion forward roster for the retailer.

“Julianne Moore represents a timeless, ageless, natural American beauty that this brand has always represented,” TALBOTS chief creative officer Michael Smaldone said in a release.

“The fortyish woman embodies a confidence and strength that comes with experience. Being fortyish also represents a time in her life that she buys what she respects, wears only what she loves and covets the things that become signatures of her personal style. Our brand’s vision is Tradition Transformed — Ms. Moore is just that to us.”

JULIANNE, who is shooting the new spot this week, will be captured by fashion photographers MERT ALAS and MARCUS PIGGOTT…and featured in TALBOTS’ store windows and catalog, as well as spring issues of magazines.
